These results are actually a bit off because one question asks what you call the shoes you wear to work out. I really don't call them tennis shoes or sneakers. Around these parts, they're gym shoes, dammit! So gimme 5% hard-core Chicagoan in lieu of 5% Yankee.

Georgia-raised boy with family from south Florida and south Louisiana... secondary and university educations both primarily from Louisiana. I think coming out only 35% Dixie is a miracle!
Actually though, the number for my Dixie is rather high because, for instance, though the term y'all just "rolls off my tongue," as the question asks, because it's a natural to use term I was surrounded by all my early life; I rarely use the word. Likewise, I rarely use the expression "expecting" for pregnant, as so many southerners do. So perhaps the wording of some of the questions could've been reworked to allow for more options like: "the phrase is native to my speech but I am an educated southerner who does not use that expression, except in jest."
Rob, you're a self-loathing Southerner!
