Secondhand rant

Are you cranky? If not, would you like to be? Over at the Post-coital Babble blog (I don't know why it's called that), suzinalexa (I don't know if there's a real name in there) is ranting up a storm. Hey, someone had to do it, so she did.

Ahhh, rants. I know all about these and it seems they only want to get worse as I get older.

How about the people who wait until the lane ends, even though they were warned for the last 5 miles that it was going to, before cutting you off in their hurry to escape the wall?

Or the people who don't accelerate through turns. C'mon! What is that?! Where'd you learn to drive?! Hrmph.

How about the fullllllllllll ... aaaaand ... compleeeeeeete...stop at the stop sign? Especially fun when you are behind this car for, like, ten intersections in a row, none of which has any other traffic that would necessitate the hardcore stoppage. I have been known to honk at people who are, strictly speaking, obeying the law, just because they're pissing me off. (I do get a tad impatient.)

Yes, I know the people of whom you speak. Because of where I have to drive most of my day, it's full of people and they are doing road work so things get wacky. In the Fan (named because it's shape is a fan but only when you see it from the air), there are stop signs or stop lights and sometimes I stop at green lights and sometimes I go right through stop signs. There have also been times when I've stopped at a stop sign waiting for it to turn green. That's what I get for thinking about other things when I'm driving and experiencing the stress of too many damned signs so I'm not sure what I'm supposed to be doing.
